The International Naturist Federation (INF-FNI) – the global body that represents naturism worldwide – is looking for a correspondent from Greece. Unlike most European countries, Greece does not currently have a national organisation or federation for naturists – surprising, given how widespread naturism is, especially in the islands. Until recently, the INF-FNI relied on a correspondent, who would keep them informed about the state of naturism in Greece – but after a number of years they have decided to retire.
So, naturally, the INF-FNI has approached The Captain for help finding somebody to be the new correspondent.
Correspondents are volunteers who are an important part of the INF-FNI – the organisation’s eyes and ears in countries where there is no member federation, and they play a key role in helping to advance naturism worldwide.
The new correspondent would be expected to
Maintain contact with the Europe representative of the INF-FNI
Report on the state of naturism in Greece at least once a year, including any notable achievements or obstacles that might have been encountered
Respond to any queries about naturism in Greece
Over time, the correspondent should work towards creating a federation, recognising that this may be a long-term goal. As a start, the correspondent might build a team of supporters who can help with the correspondent role. They might also maintain regular contact with Greek naturist resorts and hotels, given their clear interest in naturism in Greece. They would be supported by the INF-FNI though its Europe representative.
The correspondent, and in due course the federation, will play an important role in helping to preserve and advance naturism in Greece.
Enquiries and expressions of interest should be addressed to europe@inf-fni.org. Please respond to the above email address, not the Captain as I am just passing the message on!
