Details
From its website:
Camping Le Couderc is a child-friendly naturist campsite located in the beautiful Dordogne, southern France with spacious pitches, chalets, and furnished luxury tents. The site is located around a beautiful valley with a spring, a rippling stream, two ponds and a nice forest: it’s a natural paradise of 33 hectares. The location is ideal for a day trip to villages, castles, and tourist attractions.
From a Barefooter:
The spacious site is extremely well run, with great facilities and a large, friendly staff team operating a shop, bar, restaurant and snack bar.
As a Dutch-owned site there are a large number of Dutch visitors, but we also saw a number of British cars, lots of French and even a Swiss number plate. Situated in Perigord Pourpre there is lots to enjoy in the local area including Bergerac, Monbazillac, the market at Issigeac on Sunday (I would advise starting your stay on a Saturday so you can really take advantage of this excellent market), without venturing very far.
I had booked some months in advance, and when we arrived they said ‘well, you can have your booked space, but that’s usually used by motorhomes – take this map that shows which pitches are free for the duration of your stay, and let us know if you’d rather have one of those’ – we did indeed prefer a different space in a quiet field of oak trees, and had an excellent stay.
