Here is the current project plan, status and timescales. It is all subject to, well, anything to be honest so do take all figures with a pinch of salt.

Broad idea – not necessarily chronological, but not far off.

  • Create new functional website just to get up and running again
  • Import existing beaches, photos and reviews
  • Add new review functionality
  • Add new location suggestion functionality
  • Redirect old website names (Domains) to the new website so that visitors will find it
  • Add accommodation listings
  • Add a membership scheme for accommodation owners to maintain their own listings
  • Redesign website more how I want it to look and feel

I am open to all suggestions as to features to be added. I will consider any that are submitted and you will received a response in a reasonable timeframe. Not all will be implemented, but hopefully some will. See below for feature requests received (once they start)

I have decided on an arbitrary 2015 cut-off date for visit reports for beaches. Whilst that is still a long time and plenty could have changed it is worthwhile to see the changes in the past, without you having to read information that is too out of date.
