New beach suggestion
Method 1: Complete the Form (below) as that asks for the information needed to create the beach. This is the Captain’s preferred method.
Method 2: email the Captain. If you want to email instead, then just send the same information that is on the Form to info AT barefoot.holiday – replace the AT with ‘@’. You can also attach photographs. One Beach per email, please! Make the email Subject line:
New beach [name/location]
To find the co-ordinates of the new beach, find it on Google Maps, then Right Click (Windows PC) or Ctrl Click (Macs). Then click on the latitude/longitude numbers at the top. This will copy them to your clipboard and you can paste into the relevant field on the form. Click here to see an example.
Review of existing beach
Method 1: Add your review on the actual page. You will need to Register to add your review and it will need to be Approved. Unfortunately you cannot add photos this way.
Method 2: email the Captain. If you want to email your review then just send the Review to info AT barefoot.holiday – replace the AT with ‘@’. You can also attach photographs. Make the email Subject line:
Review of beach [name/location]
The Captain will add the review stating that it is from “a Barefooter”. He will not use your name or nickname unless you explicitly say that he can. One beach per email, please (but you can send more than one email if you have more than one beach to review)
Send photos of an existing beach for inclusion
Method 1: Complete the Form (below). A maximum of 3 photos can be submitted, each photo must be no more than 5 Megabytes in size. If they are larger, you can either reduce their size before sending or use the email Method 2.
Method 2: email the Captain. If you want to email your photo(s) then just send them to info AT barefoot.holiday – replace the AT with ‘@’. Only one beach for each email, please (but you can send more than one email). Make the Subject line:
Photo(s) of beach [name/location]
The Captain will add the photos to the beach. Note that the Captain will scale the photos for size and also add his image. The original photographer always keep the Copyright – this image is like a Watermark, it just helps to prove where they came from if someone steals the photos for a different website.

To keep the site spam-free as much as possible all reviews and photo submissions are manually Moderated before publication, so there may be a delay before you can see your review / image. Captain Andy or Andi will email you when it is published so that you don’t need to keep checking back.

Add a new place to stay, Club or Activity
If you want to add anything other than a beach, you will need to Register, then add it through your dashboard. These listings are created via a paid Annual Subscription. See our Advertising page for more details and costs. The expectation is that the owner(s) of the accommodation / club/ spa / activity would Register to create and maintain its listing, not regular barefooters.
If you think somewhere would benefit from being listed here, why not tell the owners about Barefoot?
