Vrodonero beach next to Cristal Hotel in Kalamaki is a fantastic beach with black sand and crystal clear waters and natural drinking water springs at the left end of the beach. Separated by big rocks its the Heaven for GAY men. Used to be a nudist beach for many tourists but the last decade its crowded 90% from gay men…It is said that many sexual games take place there….For sure, not a place for families.
2020 June: We are a gay male couple and we visited Vrodonero beach. Great beach without rubbish! Clear water and black sand. We were visiting the beach every day and there were about 30-40 gay men there everyday! What a place 😉

While the beach is a decent size there are zero facilities such as toilets or a place to eat/drink so bear this in mind. From my hotel it took around 20 mins to get to this naturist gay beach . You will find its mostly rocks and shingle underfoot so make sure to have decent footwear when walking over here as in hindsight I did not.
I enjoyed the seclusion of this beach, and during my stay in kalamaki found that there are two ways to get access. One is via the path that runs away from the Cave bar, the other is from the end of Crystal beach from the naturist section there, you will need to wade through wait/ chest high water but I saw lots of people making the trip.
Overall a decent stretch of beach, one that would benefit from easier access mainly.
