Playa Nudista de Cantarrijan beach is a well-established and organised naturist beach. The beach sits within the Cerro Gordo National Park that runs along this section of the coast between Nerja and La Herradura and as such is within a beautiful setting.
Essentially the beach is split into two sections. The main beach with sun loungers and umbrellas is located conveniently in front of two beach side restaurants, whilst the south east end is around a small rock outcrop and is un-organised. The beaches are official nudist beaches. The beach in front of the restaurants is generally 50/50 naturist/textiles and the south east beach is more like 75% nudist.
Location
Getting there
Between the months of June and September cars are not permitted to drive to the beach car park. This is probably a good thing, as the road is extremely steep and narrow. Instead, there's a public bus charging €2.50 and you park your car in the car park at the top of the hill, off the N-340, (there’s no charge for parking).

Alex
I have been to this beach many times over the years whilst holidaying in Spain and still enjoy it. I normally prefer the more remote and isolated beaches, but I have to say this beach is one of my favourites. The convenience of the two restaurants and the amazing setting of the beach, (when compared to many other Spanish beaches) adds to the enjoyment.
From memory a pair of sunbeds was 15 euros which isn’t too bad. One thing to be aware off is that the parking availability at the top car park can become full if you turn up in the afternoon. There is other parking at other spots along the road, so you will need to walk back down the road to where the bus departs.
