2025: From a Barefooter (GW): We found it very welcoming, but depending on volunteers means there isn't really any catering, and the bar shuts at 7pm.
They don't make reservations for tents (they clearly think they'll have enough space for visitors), but people in caravans etc should check.
Mainly local car registrations, but a smattering of others including Dutch, Belgian and German visitors. Between a third and half the site is taken up by club members who have caravans and mobile homes on site, but we didn't find them as oppressive as some sites.
In late July it was a bit chilly and windy - but neighbours said it had been much warmer a week before. The views from the swimming pool are amazing, and it's a good base for Clermont-Ferrand and sites like the Puy de Dome. Bread available (if ordered in advance) six days a week.
