You can drive to Alexi in car and then walk North towards Apitiki.
2019 September: Take the track opposite the ruin, down to the dump, then a vague path upwards across a couple of low ridges, leads to a reasonable horizontal track parallel to the coast. Apitiki is obvious when you reach it. This is almost certainly the Goat Beach mentioned above. Plenty of goats and two textile couples on our visit. One couple left and the other shed their clothes.
2023 September: Apitiki (Goat) Beach is nearly completely fenced off for the goats. There is a small section down the side of the beach where you can sunbathe in the nude which I did. However, there are better beaches i.e Good well beach for the more adventurous.

If you like the smell of goats, Goat beach might be for you. However, most of the beach is fenced of for the goats so there’s very little space.
