This is the most popular nudist beach in Preveza. Although it is very near Mango Beach Bar, it is always 100% nudist with families, couples and singles of all nationalities. At times some textiles may walk by from the beach bars, but no-one seems to be bothered by nudists. It's a pebble beach with clear and deep water, impressive cliffs as a backdrop and we have been going there for years.

August: We visited this beach for a day. Very nice place! We walked from the Burano side. It seemed that most people come from the Mango side. So if you want to be closer to other naturists go from this side. Perfect place for naturism!

May: Easily accessible and plenty of parking. Very few people around even on the main seafront at Kanali village. The central beach is not suitable for naturists as it is not screened from the road and the numerous bars. However, no such problem both north (Kastrosykia beach) and south (Monolithi beach) of the town where the beaches were completely empty. An interesting anecdote: The entire beach from Pidima Kiras in the north to Mytikas in the south was once, and sometimes still is, called Monolithi Beach. However most parts have now acquired other names but the beach south of Kanali is still often called Monolithi (possibly because the nearby campsite also bears that name). The name “Monolithi” meaning “single stone” took its name from a rock that used to be in the bay. In 1942 the rock was destroyed by German and Italian mortar fire. Nothing is left above the water but below the reef that remains is a popular diving spot.

Summer: The cafeteria has now been transformed into the vibrant Mango Beach Club, but that hasn’t stopped the above mentioned stretch of beach from being clothing optional. This visitor was on the beach on a Sunday in July and found both couples and single males enjoying the clear water au naturel.

Summer: large cafeteria with beach umbrellas right before you get to the beach. May inhibit some naturists, since there is a lot of “passers-by”. The naturist crowd is mostly men, with the occasional couples and single females.
