Details
This beach is the most frequented by naturists. It is a long pebble beach at the south-east end of Samothrace and easy to reach by car or bus. There is no shade here and sitting on the pebbles is uncomfortable in only a towel. So better bring your umbrella and chairs.
2023 July: The road to the beach is mainly tarmac but in need of some repair. The beach has little shade nor facilities at present. When we visited it was mainly nude and the few textiles that were there had no problems. It is stunning in it’s barren setting. Local advice is don’t park in the shade – goats may stand on your car to eat the low tree leaves.

This is the only nudist beach on the north side of the island. It is very spacious, so you can always find a good spot. Remember to bring a parasol.

August 2024: We were here during peak season (first 3 weeks of August). This is a large beach and was in no way packed. Yet it was almost 100 % textile. The vibe seems to be different during peak season. Although I don’t think anyone would care about the occasional naturist.
