Not exactly in down-town but it's close enough to reach it for a one-day excursion. You can only go there by car but, preferably, you should have someone local to assist you or you may be lost in a maze of dirt roads.

The place is an ancient site and, whereas the beach is free, there is heavy fencing to protect the archaeological site and the excavation in progress. There are five beaches after the rocks. Keep going till you find the best one. This is your nude beach.

You may find occasional textiles but no problem. Suggest you explore the entire span of individual small beaches so you can make your choice.

We visit this beach every year and it is still a hidden naturist paradise, frequented mostly by couples. It is pebbly and requires some climbing to get to the eastern part which is more beautiful. But it is worth the effort.

Visited as a couple at the end of May: The beach is nudist only! Arrived there on a Saturday noon and found 2 single male nudists and 3 couples spread on 5 smaller beaches. Everyone was minding their own business and it was very nice and quiet. To get here from Grammatiko, you need around 30 minutes and a total distance of 9.3 Km (the last 2.5 of which are on a dirt road). You can park your car at Agia Marina church or leave it on the U-turn 100 metres before you reach it, since the last part to the church is a narrow steep rock road. Then you can continue on foot. You need to be careful while getting from one beach to the next as you need to climb on rocks sometimes. So don’t be heavily loaded.

Visited July: drive from Ramnous archaeological site is tricky but we managed it in our nice hire car! Unmade road with some stones and holes but take it slow and it’s fine, worth the drive. Park up the road before you reach the church (or park at the church if you’re willing to brave the final stretch of bumpy track!) then it’s a 10 minute clamber over the rocks to the nudist beach. Follow the signs across the 3/4 little coves. It’s a lovely private cove, 3 couples, a few single men but very relaxed. Highly recommended.
