Val Drôme Soleil, a naturist campsite, is surrounded by the mountains of the Drôme department close to the Ardèche and Provence. The 120 pitches on the 30 hectare sloping campsite offer both sun and shade. There are also pitches in the woods and on several of the terraces on the hillside, one of which has a magnificent view over the surrounding area.

On the campsite, with swimming pool, restaurant, bar, table tennis facilities and a volleyball court, the worries of daily life seem far away.
And...as the name implies, there is plenty of sunshine in the Drôme valley.

Besides the spacious pitches for tents and caravans, we also offer chalets (gîtes) for rent. The nearby 'Formidable' villa and gîte are also available to rent.

At Val Drôme Soleil you can enjoy or discover naturism in a relaxed setting.

On arrival you are welcomed by Tjerk or Ellis. They will tell you a little about the campsite and you will receive a booklet with all the information about the facilities and the local area. You are then escorted to your pitch. Later Tjerk will use the Jeep to put your caravan on one of the higher pitches.

On our second visit the site was completely full – book well in advance – and almost entirely with Dutch visitors. That sometimes felt a bit excluding for those of us who don’t speak Dutch. It was also quite a lot more noisy – loud entertainment at the bar some evenings, troops of children marching round the site ringing bells etc – all good-natured, but this site may not be the place to go for a silent getaway in high season!

Spectacular views across the valley from the bar and swimming pool. Friendly family-run site with terraced pitches (people in tents should be prepared for some rocky ground). Good for exploring the Vercors, Die, Crest, Montélimar etc. The communal meals are excellent. Limited shop on site for bread and one or two essentials, but sizable supermarket in Crest.
