This beach is east (about 1 km) of a small port called Vivari, which is half-way between Drepano Nafplioy and Iria (about 10 km from Nafplion/Argolida). From Vivari you can see a cape on the left side of the bay with a white chapel (probably Agios Nikolaos) on the tip. Close to this cape is the naturist beach

The left part beyond the bars is the most suited for naturism. You must climb over rocks for a few metres or wade round them to reach several hundred metres of more beach. It's a big beach but narrower; most of it is pebbly.

2017 July: "Kavafis" reports on the forum : I´ve been to Kondili beach, identified as a possible spot for naturism near Nafplio. First of all, it seems that things there have changed quite a lot since the Captain wrote his first review. Today, it is a crowded textile beach, very easy to reach by car. However, if you walk to the left part, in the direction of the little church, there are indeed possibilities of nudism. This area was almost empty when I visited it in July with my partner, except for a nudist couple (who looked like regulars). Although the water was very clean and warm, and the place is beautiful, there are problems:

1. as in many other secluded beaches in Greece, people leave garbage there
2. There is a constant movement of textiles coming from the main beach, either by boat or swimming, and a number of boats also stay there as the place is great for snorkelling. Although we were not bothered by anyone, including by a textile couple that came quite close to the area, it affects somehow the relaxation you expect from a naturist beach. So does anybody know about another naturist beach in the surroundings? I know the Captain mentions a second beach [now distinguished as Kantia, following] but it doesn't look too promising as the area is heavily built and inhabited now. Otherwise, this part of Kondili could be a very good nudist beach, if more naturists start to come and consolidate it as a nudist place and if people stop throwing garbage there!

2018 April: "Pab" replied that Kodili used to be "very naturist" many years back! It was so safe, even single women would go there either topless or totally nude. Although it was mostly young couples.Couples having sex were quite common, too, at the more secluded areas of the beach. Today, I do not know why, it is very rare to find anyone there, either dressed or nude. (I am referring to the "nude" section only. Not to the main textiles beach)

2018 August: Overcrowded beach with totally more than 150 dressed bathers. Capt'n should remove Kodili from the catalog.
