Pezonta Beach is located on the East side of Kalymnos in a beautiful setting. However, like all such beaches they aren’t easily accessible.

The beach is approximately 70m long, stony with minimal shade except a few bushes. There was some washed up plastic on the beach when my Barefooter visited (September 2024), yet the water was perfect for swimming and snorkelling. I sunbathed and swam here for a few hours in the nude. Another couple turned up and they also stripped off naked. The walk from the car park to the beach is 2.3kM and takes about an hour in each direction. On a hot sunny day in Summer, don’t forget the water!

Due to its remoteness this beach won’t suit everyone’s taste, but if you fancy combining a little hiking and sunbathing then this is worth a visit.
