However, the best naturist beach to use here is the one spotted on the map by another contributor – we call it ‘Little Gem’ because it really is a little gem – an amazing beach geologically too.

The beach is amazing geologically, sandy with rocky surrounds and just a small entrance to the sea (it looks narrow enough to jump across). Definitely a nudist beach, very lovely.

2013 July: A sign “Glossa Beach” lead us to this lovely beach, with some permanent campers there. All nude. During the day some textile-people found their way to this beach. No big deal. Very relaxed atmosphere.

2014 May: Visited this beach – it’s a lovely little cove, with plenty of shade for those who don’t like sitting in the full sun. My wife sat in the shade of the cliffs while I swam in the cove and then sunbathed on the beach. A bit rocky underfoot getting into the water, but a path has been cleared to get in for a swim. Textiles on the beach when we arrived but no-one seemed to have any issues with nudity. Glossa as described there is not exactly a nudist beach. Maybe nudist although only 2-3 single men were there (July). But this is not a beach. Avoid.

2015 August: Not a hidden beach, there’s a clear sign for the beach when coming to Voidokilia. 10 minutes walkin’, quite easy with shoes. A few men camping on the beach trying to socialize with everyone, two couples nude, some people coming and going for curiosity. In our opinion not the best choice in Messinia

2016: We (Dutch family of 4) visited Glossa beach on Easter Sunday. Beside us only a young Greek couple who camped out, an older Greek gentleman, another couple and a topless couple were there. Very quiet. Real naturist beach.

2020 Sept: Nudity probably still possible. This beach is very small, with scruffy semi-permanent camping.

2021 July Nudity is no problem here, many (hippie) campers and male couples. Beware of sea urchins!

2022 July This small beach is always nudist with some textiles, but no problem.
