This is one of the most iconic landscapes you will ever experience. Take your time to walk along the incredible coastline and let nature surprise you! Not to be missed if you are in the Cyclades!
As the beach is on the north coast, avoid when windy (Meltemi from the north can be very hard)!
2010 June: visitor says you can expect a numerous textile audience arriving in coachloads…. Mostly white, silica rocks with very little actual sand. There are old sand mine tunnels in the bank at the back to explore, or shelter from the sun in, fun to explore.
2018 July: a correspondent rated the place 100%, but there were no nudists to be found as loads of people were visiting the lunar landscape.
Almost the same situation was to be found in late September, with no naked people around. The couple visiting this incredible part of the world suggests that walking along the whole coastline it is possible to find some quiet spots to bathe freely as 99% of the people stay in proximity to the sandy beach and famous rock hole and arch. Even though the couple didn't try themselves due to bad weather, walking westwards but still better eastwards, there is almost no-one to be seen and access to water could be found in quiet places… this info needs to be confirmed yet!
