If you have time to spend and you stay in Milos more than 3-4 days you should visit these beaches. We rate them 100% although it needs time. These photos are from 1st and 3rd (officially nudist) beaches:
These are among the best in Milos. 7 beautiful beaches, some just for you. On Google maps you can easily check it yourself (Triades the ones north, Ammoudaraki to the south).
It is easily possible to swim or snorkel (in late September a barefooter couple could do this completely naked) from one beach to the following one, then rest on the shore and so on, thus visiting each single beach in the same day, exploring the wonderful caves and arches under the white and red rocks all around: paradise cannot be too different from Triades!
Hope rumours concerning the construction of a luxury resort being built in Ammoudaraki are false… while the road is rough, paradise is safe!
2010 June: You will probably be the only one there, so as nude as you like. Secluded, clear waters, nice landscape, even if a bit characterless. No natural shade.
2011 August: The trip to get here is rather difficult. It took about 45 minutes from Adamas. First 15 minutes on asphalt, then 15 minutes on a good gravel road, but the tricky part is the last 15 minutes on a really bad and narrow gravel/rocky/sandy road. I feared for our rented Hyundai Getz a couple of times, but we made it there and back with no problem.
The description given here is accurate, but it seems that there is another fork in the road, between where the road to Ammoudaraki forks off, and the beach at Triades. At this other fork we took the right one, which leads to the Northernmost Triades beach. We then walked to the third beach. It seems however that if you take the other fork (left) you can get to the third beach more directly.
The beach itself was wonderful and probably the nicest experience we had on beaches in Greece. During the day there were about 5 other nude couples, so it was never busy. The cliffs around the beach are perfect for some nude exploring, as no-one else is around.
When we returned to our car we found the northernmost beach to have filled up with textiles, while the middle beach was quiet (with a few textiles), and the third beach was still quiet and nude.
Between the first and second beach there is a house on the cliff. It was a little strange crossing here. On the way back however we discovered that it was easier to reach the road/car from the second beach directly.
2013 July: The 1st beach was occupied by 2 dressed Greek families, so we decided to have a look at the following ones (south of the 1st one, easily accessible by paths on the hills) :
- 2nd one was empty, but the currents brought much seaweed, and it was not comfortable at all for swimming
- 3rd one was just amazingly beautiful, we were totally alone, so, we went naked all day. When we decided to leave at 17:30, a Greek family just arrived there, and they stayed dressed. The cliffs over the beach are just beautiful. Of course, the water is clear, as in all Cyclades, but there is not much to see when snorkelling.
2018 July: In the first days of the month, both Triades & Ammoudaraki with excellent chances to stay naked; a reporter claiming the place to be 95% and 90%, almost paradise!
late September: In Triades almost no people around, mainly in the 1st beach from the north and in the 2nd one, where there was 1 textile family and 1 nude couple. The most beautiful IMHO the 3rd one, where 1 couple was half-naked (man naked, woman not), while we were both naked all day long, no-one else around. Beach is enough wide to feel relaxed even if some textile comes around… one of the most spectacular beaches around! Naked snorkelling towards the close beaches to the south and north, swimming under white rock arches and red caves, unbelievable! You can easily rest over some submerged rocks standing up, then go to the next beach…rating 110%!! My wife and I could do this in almost all the beaches, "water-hiking" from one to the next and then peacefully lying naked on the shore, except on the 2nd beach coming from the south ("silent beach" in google maps), that was the only crowded one! Also Ammoudaraki was deserted… we will definitely come back to this lost paradise!
