Avlaki east beach is approximately 100m long, it is a clean pebble beach with nice clear water.

The beach is normally quiet in the morning until around 12. The sea is normally calm, it is sheltered from the worst of the wind. The Sea is clear and warm, there are some rocks in the shallows that can be slippery under foot. There is some good snorkelling with plenty of fish to see.

You can get a few boats from Kassiopi coming over, the people do not normally come onto the beach and don't stay for too long.
The path that takes you to the beach continues to other beaches through the nature reserve, so there are a few hikers and people going to the other beaches.

2003: An initial report from a correspondent. Going east out of Kassiopi follow a single file track through the woods for about 6 minutes, this beach was normally fairly private in July & August except for occasional pleasure cruisers. A second more secluded sand beach is found by walking from the far end of this beach through the woods for another couple of minutes.

2006 September: The beach was still in use for naturist bathing. One report rated it a rare 100%!

2019 September: It is still a nude beach. There was about 5 couples on the beach, plenty of room to be spread out. You do get boats coming in to the cove, some do adventure on to the beach.
The path to the beach also goes to other beaches, so you do get a few people walking past. There is room to be out of prying eyes of hikers further down the beach.
It is a pebble beach, so beach shoes are worth taking.

2021 September: Spent a few days on the beach. Most days there were between 5 and 6 couples spread over the beach. Majority of the people on the beach were naturists with the odd couple stopping off in swimwear. It is a pebbly beach so make sure you have a good towel or bamboo beach mat. The sea is clear and tends to be calmer than some of the other beaches. It was a clean beach with very little litter on it.

Good snorkelling can be found to the west of the beach, but this is also popular with the other beach so you will see textiles. the sea is very clear but watch out for sea urchins in the rocks to the west. Boats did come in and moor up, a few did not realise what type of beach it was and became very quiet when they saw nudists. The path that takes you to this beach also continues to other beaches and a nature reserve so you will get people walking past every now and then. We got to the beach at 10 am and it was very still and no-one around so you could find a secluded part.
overall a very nice beach.

2022 June: Some locals told me that this was not a nudist beach, but they had taken it over. People have painted warnings on trees that there is a nudist beach ahead, but it still seems to surprise people. The beach is quiet in the mornings, the sea is calmer, we got there about 10 and most mornings had the beach to ourselves until 12. The weekends are busier, the most we saw was 12 naturists on the beach. There was a good mix of nationalities - French, German, Greek and British. All different ages, shapes and sizes. There are a few boats that come over, so be careful if you are out swimming as they seem to be looking elsewhere! The beach is generally quite clean; there was a storm one day which brought some rubbish up on the beach, but there was a guy who spent 10 minutes picking it up before leaving most days.

September: It was busy on the weekend, a lot of couples of various ages from mid 20's-60's. textiles outnumbered the naturist. During the week it was very quiet up to midday on the beach, having the beach to our selves most mornings, a few boats came up but the stay for an hour and then move on. There was a couple from the next beach, that took things a bit too far for a public beach! This was the first time I have seen this on this beach and hopefully the last as it is a public family beach.

2023 September: Spent a few days going down to this beach. Over all it is a clean pebbly beach, there are a few more secluded small areas in between the rocks at the east side of the beach. At the very end there was a “Den” which was advertised for swingers! The beach can get busy at the weekends, there was a wide variety of nationalities and age groups on the beach. Mostly mixed couples but there were a few male couples and a few single males. There can be quite a few boats that come to the beach, there is a tourist boat that comes 2-3 times a week, but only stays for an hour or so.

Sept 2024: East Avlaki beach is the name of this beach.

You have to go to the back of the Avlaki beach parking lot (textile) where the access path to the naturist part is located. The entire peninsula is organized for hiking. There is a large sign at the entrance to the Avlaki beach parking lot that shows all the possible hikes. All the trails are marked. You can access deserted beaches (Vouvalomadria Beach) and others that can receive visits from tourist boats (Vrachli beach, Tzoufaka beach). The naturist beach is a must for all hikers, a little surprised to see naked people.
The population on the beach is mixed. There is a majority of couples of all ages among the naturists. The atmosphere is relaxed. The color of the water is beautiful and it is better to have beach shoes to enter the water.
